Authorities Seize 20,000 E-Cigarettes in Klong Thom Raid
Thai officials have confiscated over 20,000 electronic cigarette items worth approximately 8 million baht following a raid on a warehouse in the Klong Thom area.
On August 13, 2026, Thai authorities conducted a major operation in the Klong Thom market area, resulting in the seizure of more than 20,000 electronic cigarette units and related accessories. According to Khaosod Online, the operation was led by Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, alongside senior police officials and representatives from the Office of the Consumer Protection Board.
The raid followed intelligence reports regarding two individuals allegedly storing and distributing illicit vaping products within the district. Both suspects were taken into custody during the operation. The total value of the confiscated goods is estimated at 8 million baht.
