Land Dispute Continues at Wat Pa Adulyaram in Khon Kaen

A property dispute involving Wat Pa Adulyaram in Khon Kaen province has returned to the spotlight following statements from the heirs of the late landowner, Mr. Hiang. According to Khaosod Online, the conflict centers on a 21-rai plot that Mr. Hiang reportedly intended for the temple's use in 1990. However, his daughter, Mrs. Buarian, asserts that while her father intended to establish a temple, the land was never formally transferred to the institution.

Mrs. Buarian claims that because the temple was not officially established as intended, the original agreement is void. This disagreement has led to multiple legal challenges, with the heirs previously filing lawsuits against the temple. Both the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal have reportedly dismissed these claims. Tensions escalated recently when a group of 30 to 40 individuals reportedly blocked the temple's entrance with concrete pipes.
