MTC Reports Strong Q2 2026 Financial Growth
Muangthai Capital (MTC) announced a 15.66% increase in net profit for the second quarter of 2026, supported by a growing loan portfolio.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, Muangthai Capital (MTC) has released its financial performance results for the second quarter of 2026. The company recorded a net profit of 1.905 billion baht, representing a 15.66% increase compared to the same period last year. Total revenue for the quarter reached 8.127 billion baht, an increase of 7.70%.
Furthermore, MTC’s total loan portfolio expanded by 7.95%, reaching 188.699 billion baht. The company stated that it continues to maintain effective control over its credit quality.
For residents and expatriates in Thailand, these figures reflect the ongoing activity within the local non-bank financial sector. As MTC is a major provider of micro-finance and vehicle title loans, its financial health serves as an indicator of consumer credit trends and liquidity among the broader population.
While these results highlight a period of growth, it remains to be confirmed how the company will navigate potential shifts in the broader Thai economic landscape throughout the remainder of the year. Investors and observers will likely monitor whether the firm can sustain this momentum in credit quality and portfolio expansion as market conditions evolve.
