Department of Local Administration Opens Exam Score Review Period

According to a report by Thai Post, the Department of Local Administration (DLA) has officially opened a window for candidates to review their exam scores. From August 13 to August 31, 2026, individuals who participated in local government recruitment examinations may request to view their scores at both the central and provincial levels.

Nirat, a representative associated with the DLA, confirmed that the department has identified 5,925 names linked to potential irregularities, which have been forwarded for criminal investigation. The DLA is currently planning a comprehensive overhaul of its examination procedures to prevent future corruption. Furthermore, the department indicated it would not oppose a potential future transition where the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) takes over the responsibility of organizing these examinations.

For residents and expatriates, this development highlights ongoing efforts to improve transparency within Thai public sector recruitment.
