TEAMG Reports Strong Q2 Growth Driven by Infrastructure Projects
Engineering firm TEAMG announced a 29% profit increase for the second quarter of 2026, supported by major infrastructure contracts.
According to a report by Thai Post, the engineering consultancy firm TEAMG has released its financial results for the first half of 2026, showing significant growth. For the second quarter of 2026, the company recorded a profit of 61 million baht, representing a 29% increase compared to the same period previously. Over the first six months of the year, the company achieved a total profit of 111 million baht, an 18% rise, with total revenue reaching 1,266 million baht.
The company attributes this performance to a robust backlog of projects, which currently stands at approximately 5,988 million baht. Key contributors to this backlog include the second phase of the zoo development project and the Light Red Line railway project. Currently, 71% of the company's work is derived from government contracts, with its EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) business segment experiencing a notable growth of 114%.
For residents and travelers, this data highlights the ongoing development of major infrastructure projects in Thailand, such as the Light Red Line, which is intended to improve connectivity. While these financial figures indicate strong corporate health and active progress on public works, the specific completion timelines for these infrastructure projects remain subject to the company's operational schedules and government oversight. Further updates regarding the progress of these construction sites will be confirmed as the projects advance.
