On August 12, 2026, police from Mancha Khiri Station were alerted to the discovery of human skeletal remains on Phu Pha Daeng mountain in Khon Kaen province. According to Khaosod Online, officers and medical personnel arrived at the site to find scattered remains, including a skull with hair featuring gold highlights, teeth, and various limb bones.
Investigators also recovered personal items at the scene, including a brown blanket with a bear pattern and a black shirt with the word 'DRIVE' printed on the chest. Notably, no pelvic bones, trousers, skirts, or footwear were found. While initial reports suggested a potential age range of 20 to 30 years based on local information from a forest forager, official identification remains pending.
