Prime Minister Anutin Visits OTOP Fair at Impact Muang Thong Thani
Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul participated in the 'Silapacheep Prateep Thai OTOP' fair, engaging with the public through music and dance.
On August 12, 2026, Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul visited the 'Silapacheep Prateep Thai OTOP' fair held at the Challenger 1-3 halls of Impact Muang Thong Thani. According to Khaosod Online, this event, which runs from August 8 to 16, celebrates the OTOP (One Tambon One Product) initiative.
During his visit, the Prime Minister joined the band 'The Palace' on stage, singing with attendees and dancing with local youth. This appearance marked his fourth visit to the venue, following his initial inspections on August 8-9 and the official opening ceremony on August 10.
For residents and travelers, the OTOP fair serves as a significant cultural showcase, highlighting traditional Thai crafts and local products. The event provides an opportunity to support local artisans and experience regional goods under one roof. While the Prime Minister’s participation added a festive atmosphere to the proceedings, the event continues to operate as scheduled through August 16. Visitors planning to attend should note that the fair is a major public event, and while it offers a unique look at Thai craftsmanship, specific daily schedules for performances or special guest appearances remain subject to change by the organizers.
