The inquiry centers on a 860,000 baht transaction allegedly linking a politician associated with the 'Blue' faction in Amnat Charoen province to an investigative officer within the ECT.
According to Khaosod Online, the ECT issued a statement confirming that the officer in question was assigned to investigate a case related to the MP elections during the period the funds were transferred. However, Panida argued that the commission’s explanation failed to address critical concerns regarding whether this financial link influenced the recent Senate selection process. She emphasized that the public deserves a clear account of how the ECT intends to proceed with this matter.
