In response to the announcement, Yuthana Phanitphithetwong, President of the Clay Target Shooting Association of Thailand, and Chalitrat Chantharubeksa, Secretary-General of the Thailand Practical Shooting Association, have scheduled a press conference for August 13, 2026. The meeting, to be held at the Thailand Olympic Committee, aims to address the potential consequences of this measure on athletes' ability to practice and compete, as well as to discuss the associations' future operational strategies.
