BAAC Launches 'Mother’s Day Savings' Campaign for August
The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) has introduced a special savings bond campaign throughout August to encourage financial planning.
On August 12, 2026, Paisan Hongthong, Deputy Manager of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), announced the launch of the 'Mother’s Day Savings' campaign. This initiative invites farmers and general customers across Thailand to participate in savings bond programs via the BAAC Mobile application throughout the month of August.
Participants who deposit into any BAAC savings bond series—such as the 'Kraphom Thong' series (500 THB per unit with a 20 million THB monthly prize) or the 'Kraphom Ngern' series (100 THB per unit with a 10 million THB monthly prize)—are eligible for promotional gifts and monthly prize draws. The campaign is scheduled to run until August 31, 2026.
For residents and expatriates, this campaign highlights a state-backed opportunity to engage with local financial instruments. While the bank promotes these bonds as a way to combine savings with the chance of winning prizes, potential participants should note that these are financial products subject to specific terms and conditions. As of now, the bank has not disclosed the full list of promotional gifts available, nor have they specified if the campaign will be extended beyond the end of the month. Interested individuals are encouraged to review the specific terms of each bond series through official BAAC channels before committing funds.
