Kasikorn Securities Forecasts Strong Q2 Performance for PTT
Kasikorn Securities projects PTT’s second-quarter profit to reach 40 billion baht, driven by exploration and production growth.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, Kasikorn Securities has released a positive outlook for PTT Public Company Limited, estimating a second-quarter profit of 40 billion baht for 2026. This figure represents a significant increase of 86% year-on-year and 56% quarter-on-quarter. Analysts attribute this robust performance primarily to the strength of the company's exploration and production (E&P) sector, alongside growth within its subsidiary businesses.
For residents and investors in Thailand, this forecast suggests a period of financial stability for the nation's major energy provider. Kasikorn Securities further anticipates that PTT will declare an interim dividend of 1.10 baht per share for the first half of the year.
While these projections indicate a strong financial position for the energy giant, it is important to note that these figures are estimates provided by a securities firm. The actual financial results and the final dividend payout remain subject to official confirmation by PTT’s board and the subsequent release of their audited quarterly financial statements. Travelers and residents should view these figures as market expectations rather than finalized corporate actions.
