Chulalongkorn University to Host 'Sing Dam Samphan 2026' Alumni Event
The Faculty of Political Science at Chulalongkorn University will hold its annual alumni gathering on August 22, 2026, to honor distinguished graduates and strengthen community ties.
According to Khaosod Online Thailand, Mr. Atthasit Sampantharat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and President of the Chulalongkorn Political Science Alumni Association, has invited current students and alumni to the 'Sing Dam Samphan 2026: 79 Years of Pride and Connection' event. The gathering is scheduled for August 22, 2026, at the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University.
The event aims to celebrate the institution's history and foster closer relationships among the 'Sing Dam' (Black Lion) community. A key highlight of the program is the recognition of five outstanding alumni who have made significant contributions to society. The day’s activities are set to begin at 8:00 AM with registration and breakfast, followed by a formal ceremony to pay respects to the 'Sing Nueng' Buddha statue at 8:30 AM.
