According to Khaosod Online Thailand, 24-year-old Emirati footballer Hamed Ali Al Shehi has achieved a new Guinness World Record for the longest basketball shot made with a heel kick. The feat involved Al Shehi tossing a basketball into the air and striking it with his heel, sending the ball accurately into a hoop from a distance of 12 meters (approximately 39.37 feet).
This accomplishment highlights Al Shehi’s exceptional physical control and precision, skills he attributes to his professional football training. The athlete is no stranger to record-breaking, having previously set marks for the most knee juggles in one minute (215) and the fastest 50-meter run while juggling a ball with his knees (10.50 seconds).
