People's Party Escalates Allegations of Senate Election Irregularities

According to a report by Khaosod Online, the People's Party has launched a series of public forums titled 'Deep Dive into Senate Election Fraud Evidence.' The party alleges that the recent Senate selection process was not merely a case of collusion, but a systematic scheme involving financial incentives and organized voting blocks.

Since mid-July, the party has presented evidence including claims of paid registration fees for candidates and the distribution of 'voting cheat sheets' to ensure specific outcomes. Collaborating with the legal monitoring group iLaw, the party highlighted 10 sets of voting patterns that suggest coordinated efforts, alongside reports of candidates meeting at hotels to rehearse voting strategies. The People's Party is now calling on the Election Commission (EC) and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to move beyond investigating individual candidates and identify the alleged masterminds behind the operation.
