NBTC Chairman Challenges Dismissal in Supreme Administrative Court
Dr. Sarana Boonbaichaiyapruck has filed an appeal with the Supreme Administrative Court following the Prime Minister's submission of a royal command to remove him from his position as NBTC Chairman.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, Dr. Sarana Boonbaichaiyapruck is contesting his removal from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). Despite the Prime Minister signing the document to submit his dismissal for royal endorsement, Dr. Sarana has filed an appeal with the Supreme Administrative Court.
Dr. Sarana presented new evidence, including documentation from Mahidol University, which he claims proves he had already ceased his employment with the university before the Prime Minister initiated the dismissal process. He is also questioning the selection committee's procedures, specifically asking why the committee did not wait for these critical documents before moving forward with his removal.
