The Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) has formed a new selection committee to appoint a permanent governor after the position remained vacant for two years.
According to a report by Thai Post, the board of the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) held a special meeting to establish a new selection committee tasked with finding a permanent governor. This move follows a two-year vacancy in the leadership role.
Benjapol Nakprasert, representing the board, has emphasized that the recruitment process must be conducted with full transparency and clarity. To ensure continuity in the interim, the board has appointed Veeris Ammarapala to serve as the acting governor, effective August 17, 2026.
