According to Somchai Morakotsriwan, Director-General of the DOE, the initiative aims to provide legal overseas employment opportunities while helping workers develop international service standards.
There are currently 384 positions available, covering roles such as front desk reception, reservation coordination, room maintenance, and housekeeping. Successful candidates can expect a maximum monthly salary of 32,000 New Taiwan Dollars (approximately 30,000 Thai Baht), with wages and benefits governed by Taiwanese labor laws and employer agreements.
To qualify, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in tourism, hospitality, or recreation, and provide proof of language proficiency in either Chinese or English at the A2 level. Interested individuals may register their interest through the official DOE website at toea.doe.go.th.
