Thailand Plans Transition of BMTA Public Buses to Electric Vehicles

According to a report by Matichon Online, Thailand’s Minister of Labour, Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, has announced plans to accelerate the modernization of the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) fleet. The government is preparing to submit a proposal this month to utilize funds from a loan decree to facilitate the transition of public buses to electric vehicles (EVs).
