A candidate named Mr. Ratchaphon Chalongkun, who had originally placed sixth for a social studies teacher position at the Chonburi exam center, passed away in an accident while commuting to work.

His friend, posting under the TikTok handle @jet20xx, stated that had the examination process been free of fraud, Mr. Chalongkun would have originally ranked first. The initial recruitment round only called up to the fifth-ranked candidate. Following the discovery of the cheating ring and the subsequent removal of fraudulent candidates from the list, Mr. Chalongkun’s ranking would have risen to the top, potentially securing him the position. His friend noted that Mr. Chalongkun was the primary breadwinner for his family, supporting an ailing mother and funding his sibling's education.
