Rocket Explosion Near School in Chonburi Leaves Two Injured

On August 10, 2026, a significant explosion occurred at a rental property in Moo 4, Huai Khai Nao, Khao Mai Kaeo sub-district, Bang Lamung, Chonburi. Preliminary investigations suggest the explosion was triggered by sparks during the mixing and sifting of gunpowder, as materials related to rocket-making were found scattered across the site. Two men were injured in the blast: a 36-year-old man identified as Mr. Amnat, who suffered burns and was transported to Pattaya Pattanakun Hospital, and an unidentified man aged 40–50 who sustained burns to his back and arms.
