Grand Asset Hotels & Property Schedules New Debenture Holder Meeting
Grand Asset Hotels & Property (GRAND) has rescheduled a meeting for holders of 10 debenture series to vote on debt repayment adjustments following a previous lack of quorum.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that Grand Asset Hotels & Property Public Company Limited (GRAND) will hold a meeting for holders of 10 specific debenture series on August 13, 2026. This follows an initial meeting on August 5, 2026, which failed to reach the required quorum.
The upcoming meeting, to be conducted via electronic media, will allow debenture holders to vote on proposals regarding debt repayment. These proposals include granting waivers for defaults on principal and interest payments, cancelling early debt repayment calls for certain series, and adjusting conditions for installment repayments. The affected debenture series include GRAND254A, GRAND257A, GRAND257B, GRAND259A, GRAND259B, GRAND25OB, GRAND25DA, GRAND264A, GRAND267A, and GRAND271A.
For residents and those with financial interests in Thailand, this development is significant as it reflects ongoing debt restructuring efforts within the property sector. The SEC has advised all debenture holders to carefully study the potential advantages, disadvantages, and overall impacts of these proposals before casting their votes. As the meeting is scheduled for August 13, the final outcome regarding the approval of these repayment adjustments remains to be confirmed. Investors are encouraged to review the official documentation provided by the company to understand how these changes might affect their specific holdings.
