Thailand U19 Underwater Hockey Team Secures Historic Bronze at 2026 Asian Championships
The Thai U19 underwater hockey team achieved a historic milestone by winning their first-ever bronze medal at the 2026 CMAS Asian Championships in Bogor, Indonesia.
According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the Thai national youth underwater hockey team (U19) made history by securing a bronze medal at the 2026 CMAS Asian Championships, held in Bogor, Indonesia, from August 5 to 8, 2026. This achievement marks the first time a Thai U19 team has reached the podium at this continental event, finishing behind Singapore and China.
The Diving Association of Thailand sent a delegation of 23 athletes to the competition, comprising 11 players in the U15 category and 12 in the U19 category. The team was supported by a coaching staff led by Singaporean head coach Vincent Low, alongside Martin Keith, team manager Khorkwan Wanikorn, assistant team manager Silsupa Wannasut, and assistant team manager Bawornrat Nuanpan.
