According to a report by Khaosod Online, the life of Luang Pu Jai (Phra Ratchamongkhon Wutthachan), a highly respected monk from Wat Sadet in Samut Songkhram province, continues to be a subject of local reverence. Born in 1862 as Jai Khamsonchai, he entered the monkhood at age 21 at Wat Bang Ko Thepsak. Throughout his life, he was known for his deep dedication to both Buddhist scripture and the study of meditation and traditional incantations, notably learning from the famous Luang Pu Yim of Wat Nong Bua in Kanchanaburi.
In 1891, he was tasked with overseeing the development of Wat Mai Yai Im, which he transformed into a significant and beautiful temple in the region.
