According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, the arrival of football star Mohamed Salah at the Turkish club Trabzonspor has generated an immediate and significant financial impact. Club President Ertuğrul Doğan stated that in the three days following Salah’s official unveiling, the club sold 18,000 season tickets, generating approximately 550 million Turkish Lira (roughly 379 million Thai Baht).
This surge in revenue is crucial for the club, as it brings them close to covering the total financial commitment for the player, which includes an annual salary of 10 million Euros (approximately 380 million Baht) and a signing bonus of 7 million Euros (approximately 266 million Baht). Doğan noted that the club still requires the sale of an additional 7,000 season tickets to fully recoup these costs.
