Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has vowed to prosecute those involved in local government examination fraud, promising to identify the masterminds behind the scheme.
On August 10, 2026, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul announced a crackdown on irregularities found in local civil service examinations. Following discussions with the Office of Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), the Prime Minister confirmed that the government intends to identify and punish all individuals involved in the corruption.
