Thai Anti-Corruption Fund Uses Drama to Engage Youth

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) Fund has launched a creative workshop project in Eastern Thailand titled 'Youth Who Do Not Tolerate Corruption.' According to Khaosod Online, the initiative aims to instill ethical values in students by integrating anti-corruption education with performing arts.

Students from Assumption College Rayong are collaborating with professional director Marut Sarowat and a team of well-known Thai actors, including Mook Worranit Thawornwong and others, to write and perform short plays. The project is designed to teach participants about teamwork, responsibility, and the long-term societal impact of corruption, even at a small scale. By involving youth in the creative process, the organizers hope to foster a culture of integrity that discourages the normalization of unethical behavior or the misuse of influence in daily life.
