24-Year-Old Soldier Passes Away on Bus in Udon Thani
A 24-year-old soldier died from an apparent heart attack while traveling on a bus from Udon Thani to Chon Buri.
On the morning of August 9, 2026, a 24-year-old soldier identified as Tantikorn passed away while aboard a Rayong-Bueng Kan bus at the Udon Thani Bus Terminal 1. According to reports from Khaosod Online Thailand, the soldier had been visiting his family in Udon Thani and was in the process of returning to his military base in Chon Buri when he lost consciousness in his seat.
Emergency responders from the Sawang Metha Tham Foundation were dispatched to the scene at approximately 8:00 a.m. following reports of an unresponsive passenger. Despite immediate efforts by rescue personnel to perform CPR and resuscitate him, the soldier could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
