Tragic Domestic Incident in Nakhon Si Thammarat

According to reports from Khaosod Online Thailand, a violent domestic incident took place in the Tha Wang sub-district of Nakhon Si Thammarat on August 7, 2026. A 33-year-old man, identified as 'Top', allegedly shot and killed his 34-year-old girlfriend, Sudaporn, while she was using her mobile phone in their home. The motive for the shooting was reportedly jealousy, following a history of frequent arguments between the couple.

Following the initial incident, the suspect fled the scene on a motorcycle. After two days of police pressure, the suspect returned to the location of the crime. On the early morning of August 9, 2026, local authorities, including officers from the Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat Police Station, discovered the suspect’s body at the front of the house. He had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

For residents and travelers, this incident highlights a tragic case of domestic violence.
