Thai Industrial Sector Backs Data Center Hub Ambitions

According to the 51st FTI CEO Poll conducted in July 2026, 72.5% of industrial executives believe that investing in data centers is crucial for Thailand's economic and industrial development. As reported by Khaosod Online, Montri Mahaplerkpong, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), stated that these facilities are essential for upgrading digital infrastructure, supporting Cloud, AI, and Big Data technologies, and enhancing industrial competitiveness.
