Thaicom Rebrands to Gulf Space Technology

According to a report by Prachachat Business, Thaicom Public Company Limited has announced a corporate rebranding, changing its name to 'Gulf Space Technology.' Despite this shift in the company's identity, the organization confirmed that it will continue to use the 'Thaicom' brand name for its satellite operations.

This announcement coincided with the release of the company's financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The report indicated that the company recorded a total revenue of 497 million baht, representing an increase of 9% compared to previous periods. However, the company also reported a net loss of 87 million baht for the same quarter.

For residents and travelers in Thailand, this change primarily concerns the corporate structure of a major telecommunications entity. While the satellite services remain branded as Thaicom, the shift to Gulf Space Technology reflects broader changes within the company's ownership and strategic direction.
