Deputy PM Supachai Weighs Timing for 'Thai Tiew Thai Plus' Tourism Stimulus

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Supachai Suthumpun has addressed the potential launch of the 'Thai Tiew Thai Plus' tourism stimulus program. According to a report by Prachachat Business, Supachai indicated that the initiative would be most effective if implemented during the upcoming peak tourism season.

Regarding the financial structure of the program, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that a decision on whether to utilize funds from the Emergency Decree on loan measures has not yet been finalized. The proposal is currently awaiting a formal review by Ekniti Nitithanprapas before it can be submitted to the Cabinet for consideration.

Supachai further clarified that there is no immediate necessity to launch this program concurrently with the second phase of the 'Thai Chuay Thai' initiative.
