A local temple in Samut Songkhram has stepped in to provide free funeral services for a 34-year-old woman, following a coordinated effort by rescue workers to transport her.

According to a report by Khaosod Online, 12 rescue workers from the Sawang Benja Tham Foundation collaborated to transport the body of a 34-year-old woman, who weighed 250 kilograms, from Somdej Phra Phutthaleutla Hospital to Wat Lat Peng. The operation required a convoy of seven rescue vehicles to cover the 10-kilometer distance.
In an act of compassion, the abbot of Wat Lat Peng, Phra Khru Phisan Samutkit, instructed his assistant, Phra Khru Palad Pornthep Panyawaro, to prepare the temple grounds for the funeral rites. The temple has offered to conduct the cremation services free of charge, ensuring the ceremony is held with dignity and care.
