Fatal Shooting Follows Explosions in Trang Province
A 23-year-old man was killed in Trang following a series of four explosions targeting local properties, including a cockfighting arena.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, a violent incident occurred in Trang province on August 6, 2026, involving a series of explosions and a subsequent fatal shooting. Authorities reported that four explosive devices were detonated in a single night, targeting residential properties and a cockfighting arena owned by a local figure known as 'Kamnan Nong.'
Following these events, 45-year-old Yongyot, identified as a caretaker at the cockfighting arena, allegedly shot and killed 23-year-old Sastrawut. The victim was found with four gunshot wounds to the head in a rubber plantation located in Na Bin La sub-district, Mueang Trang district. Police investigations are currently underway to determine the exact sequence of events and the underlying motives connecting the explosions to the homicide.
