Forensic Results Released for Hlun Solo in Thailand
Thai forensic experts have released preliminary autopsy findings for Hlun Solo, citing heart failure while keeping investigations into potential chemical exposure open.
On August 6, 2026, the Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS) in Thailand provided an update regarding the death of Hlun Solo. Assistant Professor Dr. Woravee Waiwuth, Deputy Director of the CIFS, stated that the autopsy was conducted following the repatriation of the body from Georgia, where an initial examination had already taken place.
According to the findings, there were no visible signs of physical trauma, such as bruising or broken bones, and internal organs appeared normal with the exception of the heart. Preliminary conclusions point to a failure of the cardiovascular and circulatory systems. However, officials have not ruled out the possibility of toxic or chemical substances playing a role in the death. The Ministry of Justice is currently coordinating with Georgian authorities to obtain further data and laboratory results to clarify these concerns.
