A 31-year-old man reports being assaulted after intervening in a domestic violence incident, claiming local authorities have made no progress in his case over three months.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, a 31-year-old man named Sarawut has publicly raised concerns regarding an ongoing investigation in Sam Khwai Phueak, Nakhon Pathom. On March 11, 2026, Sarawut intervened to assist a neighbor, a Myanmar national, who was fleeing from her husband while carrying her injured child. He contacted the police to ensure the safety of the mother and child.
The following day, March 12, 2026, Sarawut alleges that the husband returned with a group of seven individuals. He claims they physically assaulted him, attempted to stab him with a knife, and threatened his life. Sarawut subsequently filed a formal complaint with the Sam Khwai Phueak Police Station. However, he reports that three months have passed without any arrests or significant progress in the investigation. Furthermore, he alleges that he has received threatening phone calls from individuals claiming to have connections to a retired police officer, leaving his family in fear of local influence.
