Thai actor Up Poompat has officially entered the culinary scene with the launch of his new restaurant, 'Mondays Fried Chicken.' According to a report by Khaosod Online, the actor spent over a year perfecting his signature chicken and sauce recipes before opening the doors to the public approximately ten days ago.

During an appearance at the 'THE SCENT OF SIAM' event at ICONSIAM on August 5, 2026, Up expressed his satisfaction with the initial reception of the shop and shared his long-term ambition to expand the business to additional locations in the future. Fellow actor Phum Puripan, who attended the same event, confirmed he had sampled the food and particularly enjoyed the onion-flavored sauce.

For residents and visitors, this development highlights the growing trend of Thai celebrities diversifying into the food and beverage sector.
