According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the Ministry of Public Health, through the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, has announced plans to host two major events in 2026 aimed at elevating Thai wellness practices to the global stage. The initiative seeks to position Thailand as a 'Global High-Value Wellness Hub' by integrating traditional wisdom with modern health innovations.
The first event, the 'National NUAD Thai and Wellness Expo 2026,' is scheduled to take place from August 20 to 22, 2026, at Hall 8 of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The expo will focus on the 'NUAD Thai Heritage and Wellness to Global Future' concept, covering the entire supply chain of the industry. A key highlight of the event will be the showcase of '4 Regions Thai Massage,' which features unique regional techniques such as Pho-Lanna from the North and Pho-Thotsawayo.
