Peer-to-peer vehicle rentals published directly by their owners. SawaLife is not a rental agency and does not handle payments or bookings.
International driving permit required An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required to legally ride or drive in Thailand, in addition to your home licence — for a scooter or motorcycle, the IDP must specifically cover the motorcycle category. The IDP cannot be obtained locally: it must be requested before departure, in your home country. Without a valid IDP, insurance is void in the event of an accident, leaving all costs (repairs, hospital) to the rider or driver.
