King Narai Reign Fair 2027

An annual historical festival in Lopburi celebrating the reign of King Narai the Great with costumed processions, a period market, and a nightly light-and-sound show at Phra Narai Ratchaniwet palace.

The King Narai Reign Fair is an annual ten-day event held at the Phra Narai Ratchaniwet palace grounds in Lopburi. The festival commemorates King Narai (reigned 1656–1688), who established Lopburi as his second capital. The event features a historical procession with participants in Ayutthaya-era costumes, a period market selling traditional crafts and food, and a nightly light-and-sound show projected onto the palace walls. The 2027 edition is scheduled for 12–21 February, though dates are subject to confirmation by provincial authorities. Visitors can expect a cultural experience highlighting the diplomatic openness of the Ayutthaya period, including French and Persian-influenced elements.
