Chiang Mai Design Week 2026 showcases the intersection of seven centuries of Lanna craft—including woodwork, ceramics, textiles, and fragrance—with modern Thai design. Organized by the Creative Economy Agency, the festival spans nine days across three main clusters: the Old Town, the Chang Moi–Tha Phae craft streets, and the Sanpakoi district. Visitors can explore exhibitions, markets, and installations in galleries, temples, and cafés. While the core festival is free to attend, some workshops and music events may require separate tickets. The event is ideal for those interested in arts, crafts, and local culture.
