International arrivals into Bangkok process through either Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) or Don Mueang International Airport (DMK).

Pre-Arrival Checklist:

  1. Passport: 6 months remaining validity, undamaged condition.
  2. Onward Flight: Confirmed ticket departing within the allowed duration.
  3. Accommodation Proof: Hotel voucher or address of stay.
  4. Cash Reserve: 10,000–20,000 THB cash equivalent available upon inspection.

Ground Transportation to City Center:

  • Suvarnabhumi (BKK): Airport Rail Link (ARL) directly to Phaya Thai BTS (45 THB, 26 min), or Level 1 official metered taxis.
  • Don Mueang (DMK): SRT Dark Red Line rail link to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Station, or express shuttle buses (A1-A4).
