What Sawa+ adds to the general notice

In addition to your SawaLife account data, Sawa+ processes specific data you voluntarily provide when activating and registering: consents, profile, questionnaire answers, interests, photos and discovery preferences. None of this is collected before you have explicitly activated Sawa+.

Data collected specifically by Sawa+

Display name, gender, pronouns, resident status, bio, intentions (friendship, outings, relationship, etc.), compatibility questionnaire answers, selected interests, up to 6 photos, discovery preferences (age, distance, languages), and your Sawa+ consent history (type, version, date, locale).

Some answers may be sensitive data

Certain questions or intentions you provide (for example, relating to relationship orientation) may fall into a category considered sensitive under the law applicable in your country of residence. We collect explicit consent before any such data is collected, and never share it for advertising purposes.

Approximate and precise location

By default, only your city is visible to other members. If you voluntarily enable precise-location sharing (a separate, optional consent), an exact geographic point is stored server-side, but is never sent as-is to other members: a randomly offset point, shifted by a few hundred metres and recomputed daily, is displayed instead to protect your safety.

How visibility controls work

Some fields of your profile are publicly visible within Sawa+, others become visible only after mutual contact is established, and others always stay private (for example, your date of birth is never displayed — only your "verified adult" status is). You can review and adjust these settings from your Sawa+ profile.

How data is used for matching

Your questionnaire answers and interests are used only to compute an indicative compatibility score with other members and power the discovery feed; they are not used for any other purpose, including advertising.

Retention, suspension and deletion

You can permanently delete your Sawa+ profile from the Sawa+ page while retaining your SawaLife account. This deletes the Sawa+-only profile data described above, including photos, answers, preferences, saved profiles, Sawa+ conversations and consents. Suspending a profile removes it from discovery but does not delete its data. Certain safety, security or legal records may be retained where required.

Sharing with other members, never for advertising

Information you make visible is shared only with other Sawa+ members according to your visibility settings. We do not sell or share your Sawa+ data with third parties for advertising purposes, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

Your Sawa+-specific rights

You can withdraw your consent to precise-location sharing at any time by disabling the corresponding option; any already-stored points are then deleted. For any other access, rectification or deletion request relating to your Sawa+ data, use the "Personal data" area of your dashboard or contact info@sawalife.com.

Security of sensitive data

Your photos, answers and preferences are protected by the same access controls and security measures as the rest of the platform. No security can be guaranteed absolutely; in the event of an incident affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
